The Craftsman
Prudencio Dominguez was born in the small village of Rio Malo de Arriba, in the heart of Las Hurdes (Cáceres). They grew up in a rural, working as a child, along with his parents and brothers and sisters.
At age 11, seeking to improve living conditions, emigrated to Barcelona to Pamplona and then with the whole family.
At 15 years old, began learning the carpenter's trade, a trade that has developed throughout his life.
In Pamplona met his wife Begoña, a native of Ainzioa, a small town Erro Valley, north of Navarre.
It is in this beautiful town, Ainzioa, where Prudencio finally mounted his workshop. Operates there as a carpenter and is the inspiration for his carvings.
For over 40 years, Prudencio has been dedicated to woodworking artisan and has made furniture using wood of any kind and quality, as required by the orders.
In recent years has intensified its commitment to style and creative work, creating many beautiful objects from which a sample is exposed here.
